Wireless 30K Horseshoe Dynamometer Transducer

The 4" wireless horseshoe transducer is installed between the pumping unit carrier bar and the permanent polished rod clamp by positioning a temporary clamp on the polished rod and using system momentum to create space for the transducer. The pumping unit brake is set, allowing the transducer to be positioned, and then released to transfer the load back to the carrier bar. The knock-off block is removed, the well is restarted, and dynamometer tests can be conducted once stabilization is achieved.

The 4" wireless horseshoe transducer precisely measures polished rod load using 12 strain gauges on three supporting members, maintaining accuracy even if the carrier bar is tilted.

The 4" wireless horseshoe transducer features an integrated accelerometer, providing simultaneous load and acceleration data wirelessly. Unlike string potentiometers, it requires no routine maintenance, and the software uses the acceleration data to accurately determine polished rod position.

The 4" wireless horseshoe transducer accurately measures polished rod load and position, processed by TAM software to generate surface dynamometer and pump cards, displaying loads and horsepower requirements. It facilitates traveling and standing valve tests, ensuring accurate data entry and enabling calculations for pump intake pressure, leakage, and gearbox loading. Additionally, it allows for counterweight moment determination, facilitating gearbox loading calculations and displaying permissible load diagrams.
