Overview
The pressure transducer utilizes thin film sensor stainless steel diaphragm technology. This common type of transducer is rugged and offers good accuracy over a wide range of temperatures when temperature compensated. The pressure transducer also houses a thermistor that measures transducer temperature. All pressure measurements are temperature compensated. The pressure transducer is calibrated over a range of -40°F to 140°F. The temperature corrections are automatically applied by software.
The pressure transducer is a rugged device. The dimensions are 1" O.D. x 5" in length. It can be easily attached to the gas gun special connector or to a special connector that can be made to customer's specifications. The fitting is o-ring sealed so that hand-tight is sufficient to prevent leakage. The pressure transient cable and pressure transducer connectors are waterproof.
The pressure transducers are available in ranges of 375, 900, 1500, 3000 and 6000 PSI. Pressure transducers with pressure ratings higher than 6000 PSI are available by special order. The 1500 PSI range is normally supplied with the Well Analyzer unless the customer requests a different range.
