Wireless Polished Rod Transducer

Echometer

The Wireless Polished Rod Transducer is a popular and versatile transducer used to acquire accurate polished rod dynamometer data with minimal effort

The data gathered by the device allows for the software analysis of polished rod power requirement, pumping unit beam loadings, rod loadings, and pump performance.

The wireless polished rod transducer is popular and versatile because it provides accurate dynamometer data with minimal effort, does not alter the plunger position, installs in under 30 seconds, and gathers comprehensive load and position data for detailed well performance analysis.

The wireless polished rod transducer, measuring 1" x 2" x 6-3/4" and weighing 12 ounces, features load-sensitive strain gauges and an accurate accelerometer, making it easy to transport and install for dynamometer analysis.

The wireless polished rod transducer measures the polished rod's diameter changes to determine load variations, with software aiding installation and integrating acceleration data to calculate rod position. This data generates surface and pump cards, calibrated to ensure accurate load readings, while accounting for factors like crooked holes or viscous oils, for which a horseshoe transducer might be more suitable.
