Sucker Rod Pump Load Cell Installation
This procedure applies to all land operations where the load cell installation on mechanical pumping units must be carried out.
Deliverables
- Report of the activity with its photographic record and load cell test report.
- A dynamometric card with the Echometer Well Analyzer will be taken after the installation to validate installed permanent load cell peak loads and minimum loads reported by the POC.
Equipment, Materials & Tools
For the execution of Sucker Rod Pump (SRP) Load Cell Installation, each crew requires the following:
- One Bucket Truck
- Multimeter
- Adjustable wrenches of different diameters
- To hold rod string, two 3-point clamps (50,000 lbs) each
- One 1-1/4 Impact wrench
- Pipe wrenches of different diameters
- Ladder
- One torque wrench
- Meter and tape measure
- Hydraulic jack (Hydralift)
