C-FER Technologies has released an updated version of PC-PUMP, v3.4.1. This release is available to all users who are subscribed to the 2014 Maintenance Plan. The new version of PC-PUMP fixes a problem with Custom Equipment that affected the user's ability to enter new custom equipment or modify existing custom equipment. C-FER Technologies is pleased to announce the release of PC-PUMP v3.4. This release is available to all users who are subscribed to the 2014 Maintenance Plan. The new version of PC-PUMP fixes several bugs identified by users and incorporates new features that increase the software’s usability.

Some of the new features in PC-PUMP v3.4 include:

Assisted Drive Equipment Selection. Users can receive assistance in determining if belt reduction ratios and sheave sizes are within manufacturer recommended limits.

Boronized Tubing Wear. Adjusted wear coefficients have been added to estimate rod/tubing wear in boronized tubing.

Multiphase Correlation Selection. To assist in selecting multiphase correlations, the results of each correlation will now be displayed graphically to demonstrate changes over the expected operating conditions.

Tubular Equipment Selection. To improve usability and reduce data entry time, casing and tubing can now be selected in a centralized location.

Installation Notes - Please Read

User files containing custom equipment, wellbore geometry, sample sessions and pump tests are now located in a PC-PUMP folder in the User folder under Documents and Settings. If you are using Windows 7, the user folder is now located in the Users directory.
